This is his comment on the "leapfrogging" the states are doing with their primaries in order to make them more influential. I like the elephant better also!
In a political science course I had in college we discussed this for a while during class. I found it interesting thatin somue states have laws in place that require their primaries to take place before another state can have theirs. Before long we will be having primaries weeks after an election. Oh well I guess whatever makes states like Iowa feel important. Im quite content with our presdential primaries in Indiana being pointless...usually.
